He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Jones and Marie Keaton Jones; and his wife Frances Passmore Jones. He is survived by : his daughter Lynn; his son-in-law Frank Raunikar of Young Harris; his son David; his daughter-in-law Camille Jones of Braselton, GA.; his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Meredith Jones of Mechanicsburg, PA.; and his grandchildren, Trevor, Trudy, Colby Jones, Robert and Rachel Raunikar.

Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family request that donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or to the Appalachian Trail Club in memory of Mr. Jones.
