He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Linda Henly Appleton; his daughter Alli Appleton; his granddaughter Elizabeth Gray Dillard of Athens, GA.; his parents, Brown Garrison and Alice Gray Appleton; his siblings, Nadine Appleton Van Orsdel, Pauline Appleton Hudkins (Lee) and William Roberts (Bob); and his brother-in-law Dan Henly (Sherri).
