He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Doniel Brackin and Hortense "Sally" Sheffield Brackin; and his brother John Brackin. He is survived by: his wife Deloit Mitchell of Young Harris, GA; his stepdaughter Cindy King of Monticello, FL; and his siblings, Walter Brackin (Judy) of Caro, GA, Robin Fason of Tallahassee, FL and Margaret Elrod of Nashville, TN..
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Mr. Brackin's memory.
