It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Georgene Esther Phinney of Young Harris, Georgia, born in Independence, Ohio, who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father George Bender; her husband Robert Calvin Phinney; and her brother Wayne Bender. She is survived by : her children, Sue Clark (Joe) of Ft. Myers, FL, Timm (Jodi) of Corvallis, MT and Christi Hart (Billy) of Young Harris, GA; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Ryan, Ericka, Lairen, Gretchen, Wayne and Tyler; and her great grandchildren, Laci, Wyatt, Caden, Brock, Kinsley and Ryler.
In lieu of flowers make memorials to All Saints Lutheran Church or Regency Hospice.
