It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Arthur Doughty of Young Harris, Georgia, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret Cecile Doughty. He is survived by : his children, James Lee Doughty of Americus, GA and Sharon Doughty; his son-in-law Wendell Tarleton of Bowman, GA; his daughter Marcy; his son-in-law Danny Hawkins of Young Harris, GA.; his grandchildren, Jason L. Hawkins, Shannon Tolliver, Brian Tolliver, Jeffrey Hawkins (Colleen) and Cameron Doughty; his great grandchildren, Evelyn Rose, Aurora and Leo; and his brother Ray Doughty (Emma).
