He is survived by: his wife Joyce Brown Mason; his children, William Grant Mason, Gregory James Mason (Peggy), Ellen "Beth" Moss (Clark), Patricia Lynn Hanold, Sheri Rena Anderson (Tim) and Michelle Reese (Michael); and his siblings, William Grant Mason (Mary) and Tootsie Burch (David). He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren; his 23 great grandchildren; and his three great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in his honor to Landmark Baptist Church, 200 Upper Peachtree Road, Murphy, NC 28906.
