With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Mae Meeks of Young Harris, Georgia, born in Mableton, Georgia, who passed away on February 23, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her father Howard Allen; and her husband Leland W. Meeks. She is survived by : her daughter Kathy (Gerry Petty); her sisters, Joan Knight and Sandy Bell; her grandchild Whitney Petty; her daughter Mother Tamy Lovins; and her close friend Riley. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
