We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023, at the age of 90, Sammie J. Raper of Young Harris, Georgia, born in Lyons, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sammie J. Raper to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Samuel Brantley and Hallie Cawley Brantley; and her daughters, Cindy Partin and Renea Winn. She is survived by : her husband Charles William Raper Sr. of Young Harris; and her children, Connie Drury of Shaver Town, PA., Billy D. Orser of Jacksonville, FL., Chuck Raper of Uvalda, GA., Peyton Raper of Ailey, GA., Terry, Katrina Raper of Winder, GA., Kenny and Jeannette LaBruyere of Blairsville. She is also survived by fifteen Grandchildren, forty one great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

Flowers are accepted or if you wish the family requests that donations may be made to the Faith Baptist Church Missions Fund in Mrs. Raper's memory.
