She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Dumas and Nettie Ellerbee Dumas; her grandson Jonathan Vaughn; and her siblings, Robert Dumas, Harold Dumas, Merlynn Dumas, Catherine Dumas, Mary Goodwin and Erma Trice.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Hatchett of Hampton, Lynn Laughlin (Brett) of Conyers, John Hatchett (Gina) of Williamson, Janet Dennis (Alan) of McDonough and Melody Hatchett of Zebulon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.
