He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Sheffield and Ruth Slocumb Sheffield; his wife Joan; his son David Sheffield; his brothers, Bobby Sheffield and Wendell Sheffield; and his granddaughter Cheyenne Sheffield.
He is survived by: his sons, Chuck Sheffield (Kim), Donald Sheffield (Kim) and Chad Sheffield (Lori); his grandchildren, Chase, Amy, Cameron, Brooke, Matthew, Chandler, Cason, Macie and Seth; his great grandchild Maeleigh Sheffield; and his brother Kenny Sheffield (Margie).
