He is survived by: his wife Pauline Shepard; his children, Edward Lee Shepard, Jr., Tony Shepard (Fonda) and Cynthia Stewart; his grandsons, Jacob Shepard (Clare) and Caleb Shepard (Jordan); his great grandchild Jonah Shepard; and his sisters, Peggy Young O'Neal (Ed) and Hilda Harrell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
