He was predeceased by : his granddaughter Laila; and his sister Sandra Reese. He is survived by : his children, JoAnna Duffey, Sarah Duffey and John Duffey; his grandchildren, Jovahn, Hayleigh, Abigail, Shadan and JJ; his brother Anthony "Boots" Duffey; and his nephew Jeff Prator. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Moody-Daniel Funeral Home (10170 U. S. Hwy 19, Zebulon, GA 30295). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
