She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Lapenia; her children, Mary Kauhaahaa and Gordon Lapenia Andy Lapenia (Linda Lapena); and her grandchild Angel. She is survived by: her close friend John Palafox; her daughters, Serena Lapenia, Elizabeth Lapenia Jr. and Dee Dee Lau (Kalani Lau); and her grandchildren, Trini, Chasity, Shatay, Shatisha, Slainden Kauhaahaa, Rowland Andrews, Eddie Lapenia, Cedrick Andrews, Gordon Andrews, Kamahele, Triton Apa-Lapenia, Jaclyn Inciong, Kapeka, Kawehi, Kaipo and Kalani Lau. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren.
