We are sad to announce that, on January 9, 2026, at the age of 103, Helen Estrella of Haiku, Hawaii passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Helen leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Estrella; and her parents, Antone Tavares and Emily Moniz Tavares. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Estrella (Ann) and Linda Estrella; and her brother Edward Tavares (Annette). She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Maui.
