She is survived by: her children, Gary Tavares (Laurie) of Hilo, Leroy Tavares (Malia) of Portland, Gregory Tavares of Hilo, Donnalyn Medeiros (Abraham) of Papaikou and Juliann Figueroa (Michael Jr.) of Pepeekeo; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Ongais of Keaau, Joanne Kalawe of Keaau and Sharon Tavares of Keaau. She is also survived by her 28 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
