He is survived by: his wife Charlene Wamar; his children, Coleen Haleamau (Anthony) of Hilo, Anthony Wamar Jr. (Shelly) and Antoinette Wamar (Raymond DeLima) of Mountain View; and his siblings, Lawrence Wamar (Lillian), Henry Wamar of Hilo and Margaret Thrower of Oakland, California. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel (199 Wainaku St, Hilo, HI 96720). A wake will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. (110 Laimana St, Hilo, HI 96720).
