She is survived by: her children, Shelly Ogata (Chad) of Hilo, Dawna Abe of Kapolei and Brandon Abe of Kapolei; her half-siblings, Craig Takemoto of Honolulu and Sandra Takemoto of Honolulu; and her grandchildren, Avery Chai and Elliot Chai.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kinoole Baptist Church (1815 Kinoole St, Hilo, HI 96720). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
