He is survived by : his close friend Kaye Nagamine of Hilo; his daughters, Trisha Chun (Alan) of Honolulu, Kasie Lyn Kailikea (Keolu) of Hilo, Lindy Sagawa of Oahu and Jessica Quist (Johanson "Yonny") of Hilo; and his brother Jason Sagawa of Oregon. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
