It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Leslie Kaleoaloha Pakele of Hilo, Hawaii, born in Hayward, California, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Susanne Pakele of Hilo; his children, Anu'enu'e Baker-Kukona (Michael) of London, England and Lindsay Kukona Pakele (Brandon Maka'awa'awa) of Waimanalo; and his siblings, Deborah Lynn N. Maikui (Rudy) of Hilo and Dean Lance H. Pakele of Hilo.
