He is survived by: his wife Gay Ashida Heaukulani; his children, Jeffrey Heaukulani (Avidan), Creighton Koa Heaukulani, Heather Grimmer (Ben) and Jodi Heaukulani (Marco); and his siblings-in-law, Eunice Muramoto and Lincoln Ashida. He is also survived by four grandchildren and numerous cousins.
