He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Lui of Hilo and Timothy Lui of Hilo; his siblings, Edward Lui (Patti) of Honolulu and Kathleen Lui of Hilo; his sister-in-law Karen Tanaka (Leslie) of Honolulu; and his aunt Florence Manuel of Na'alehu. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission Social Hall (216 Mohouli St, Hilo, HI 96720).
