Helen Hisako Ozaki Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Helen Hisako Ozaki of Hilo, Hawaii, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Helen left this world on November 14, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Helen Hisako Ozaki to show support.
As we bid Helen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Helen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her husband Kiyotoshi Ozaki of Hilo; her daughters, Valeri Terry (Richard Schiller) of Dexter and Lori Ozaki (Kevin Lee) of Sacramento, California; and her sister Amy Hori of Hilo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Born in Hilo, she was a retired director of the home health department and registered nurse at the former Hilo Medical Center, a volunteer with RSVP and an avid line dancer and floral arranger.
Family requests no flowers and no koden (monetary gifts).
