He is survived by: his wife Yaeko Hose of Hilo; his children, Howard "Sashi" Hose (Gwen Fukuchi-Hose) of Hilo, Clayton Hose (Nalani Morton) of Hilo, Sandralyn "Sandie" Hatayama (Dain Oblero) of Mountain View, Valerie Tanimoto (Tod) of Hilo and Sharmane Hose of Hilo; his siblings, Elmer Hose (Yong Sun) of Mililani, Stella Galon of Honolulu and Lily Clifton of Georgia; and his sisters-in-law, Shizuko "Sue" Hohu of Kaneohe, Hatsuyo Haimoto of Kailua-Kona and Violet Sakamoto of Hilo. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 hanai grandchildren, 6 hanai great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
