It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Takeko Iwashita of Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by : her husband Elven Iwashita of Hilo; her daughters, Candie Lynn Ogawa (Brian) of Keaau and Paige Nakano (Brian) of Hilo; her siblings, Tadayuki Kiso of Mountain View and Jean Kubota of Hilo; her siblings-in-law, Sadao Yabuno of Pearl City, Lillian Yamashita of Hilo, Jeanne Kaneshiro (Robert) of Honolulu and Sadako Iwashita of Hilo; and her grandchildren, Chad Suzuki (Kayla), Jennifer Nakano, Michael Nakano, Jordan Ogawa and Taylor Dru Ogawa. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
