She was predeceased by : her husband George Shoji Tanouye. She is survived by : her daughters, Gail Kinumatsu (Roy) of Honolulu and Linda Murai (Alterry) of Kohala; and her siblings, Gary Kato, Susan Kato of Honolulu, Eiko Kaohu of Kohala and Sally Kato of Kohala. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; in addition to numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
