It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Leinani Green of Hilo, Hawaii, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Alvarez (Lani) of Kamuela, Kehau Miday (Steve) of Hilo, Michael Cheek (Kristin) of Mt. View and Ronald Cheek of Arizona; her brother John Ka'ana'ana of Kauai; and her sister-in-law Eloise Ka'ana'ana of Honolulu. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
