He is survived by: his wife Joanne K. Luiz of Puna, Hawaii; his sons, Manny Luiz (Brianna) of Oahu and Kevin Luiz (Nohea) of Utah; his stepson Ken of Maryland; his daughter Kristy Nakashima (Tracy) of Nevada; his stepdaughters, Enola Iaukea (Mike) of Washington and Kanlynn Orta (Fernando) of Utah; and his siblings, Clyde Luiz of Hilo, Ricky Luiz (Laura) of Puna, Claudia Mina (Aurelio) of Hawaiian Beaches and Arlene AhSing (Michael) of Hilo. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and his numerous nieces and nephews.
