He was predeceased by: his parents, Tozo Takamine and Usa Takamine. He is survived by: his wife Linda Takamine of Honoka'a; his children, Yvette Thompson (Keala), Tammy Takamine, Nicole Aurello (Brandon) of Honoka'a and Casey Takamine (Genielee) of Honoka'a; and his siblings, Sueko Kakazu (Masao) of Oahu and Takeshi Takamine (Sumie) of Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
