He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Edgar Northrop and Dorothy Northrop; his daughters, Shannon Matson (John) of Mountain View and Anna Schamber (Dean) of Kailua-Kona; and his brothers, Gary Northrop (Cindy) of Connecticut and Frank Northrop (Mary) of Connecticut. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
