He is survived by : his wife Grace Nishimura of Hilo; his sons, Alan Nishimura (Alyssa) of Oahu, Reid Nishimura of Hilo and Gary Nishimura of Hilo; his siblings, Richard Nishimura (Carolyn) of Hilo, Glenn Nishimura (Katherine West) of Arkansas, Jennie Hashiro (Robert) of Kahului, Maui and Edna Watanabe of Hawi, Kohala; and his grandson Owen Nishimura of Oahu. He is also survived by aunts, numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.

No flowers or Koden (monetary offerings).
