He is survived by : his daughters, Dr. Melanie Arakaki of Hilo and Carole Abe (Grant) of Hilo; his siblings, Gary Arakaki (Dianna) and Janice Murakami (Thomas) of Honolulu; his sister-in-law Kayleen Kure of Hilo; and his grandchildren, Jade Rivera, Jenna Rivera, Brayden Abe and Brycen Abe. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
