She was predeceased by: her daughter Michelle Ann Ohulani Gomes; her siblings, Herbert Kalani Moke of Hilo and Sandra "Sandy" Hualani (Robert); her sisters-in-law, Rosewitha "Rose" Moke of Keaʻau, Carmen Moke of Hilo, Karen Moke of Hilo and Hānai; and her cousins, Charles "Charlie" Moody (Marion) of North Carolina, Godsisters and Godbrother.

She is survived by: her son Christopher "Chris" Alexander Keōua Gomes (Janelle) of Keaʻau; her stepson Sean Becktel (Jennifer Soares) of Hilo; and her daughters, Christine Rose Paoakalani (Peniamina), Gomes-Patu of Texas and Caren "Piena" Marie Nāpuaokalani Gomes. She is also survived by six granchildren, 4 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
