He is survived by: his wife Miriam Poha of Hilo; his daughters, Natalie Poha of Hilo and Tammy Shibata (Shane) of Hilo; his grandson Tayden Poha-Ellamar of Las Vegas, Nevada; and his siblings-in-law, James Burton (Dorothy) of Hawaiian Beaches, Norma Devine (John) of California and Trinidad Burton of California. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel (199 Wainaku St, Hilo, HI 96720). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery (110 Laimana St, Hilo, HI 96720).
