In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Derrick leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Derrick may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his close friend Melanie Moses of Honaunau, Hawaii; his brothers, Van Clint Moses of Waianae and Cid Moses (Daniette) of Nanakuli, Oahu; and his sisters-in-law, Haunani Quizon of Waianae and Lori Paiva of Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 84-5134 Honaunau Rd, Captain Cook, HI 96726.
