She was predeceased by: her parents, James Fisher and Nina Fisher; her brother Victor; and her grandson Aidan. She is survived by: her daughters, Sharea Clark (Michael) and Chana Trenner (Chris); her grandchildren, Nadia, Patrick, Malia, Kiera and Cambrie; and her brothers, Robert and Richard Fisher.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Carrie by doing something she did so well—show up for someone, open your home, lend a hand, and love your people fiercely. Memorial donations may also be made to the Simpsonville Activity & Senior Center (310 W. Curtis St, Simpsonville, SC 29681), where Carrie spent many happy hours at the card tables.
