We bid farewell to Edward K. Nakata of Honolulu, Hawaii, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 9, 2026 at the age of 77. Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Edward shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Edward farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Toshiko Nakata and Edward Nakata; his siblings, Karen, James (Lisa), Katherine and David (Jennie); and his children, Brigette Miyahira (Chad) and Shane-Edward (Emma). He was also cherished by two granddaughters.
