He was predeceased by: his parents, Masuro Mijo and Gladys Mijo; and his sister Dorothy Mijo of California. He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Mijo (Amy) of Honolulu, Gerald Mijo (late Dawn) of Wailuku, Sharon Beam (Daniel) of California, Julie Hoover (late Gene) of Pukalani and Annette Arakawa (Michael) of Pukalani. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
