He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carole Lynne Maeda; his children, Christopher Maeda and Jill Maeda; his grandchildren, Sofia Kacmarcik, Mason Maeda Kacmarcik, Beauregard Maeda and Max Maeda; his extended family Kazuo Maeda; and his nieces and nephews, Hidetoshi Maeda, Minawa Ebisui, Renta Ebisui and Mayumi Miyama Ebisui.
