She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Bergdahl and Kazue Turner (Morikawa); and her son Marvin Jay Bergdahl. She is survived by: her children, Myra Lee Ching-Remitio and Wesley Dale Ching; her grandchildren, Princess C. Ching, Anthony I. Remitio, Matthew K. Remitio and Charles R. Remitio; her great grandchild Elyse B. P. Remitio; and her siblings, Arthur Bergdahl and Paula J. Camarillo (Steven).
