She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Kahoaka. She is survived by: her sister Karen Britos; her sons, David Kahoaka (Rumi) and Jason Kahoaka (Dani); and her grandchildren, Kio, Tao, Maha and Alyssa Jae.
Pearl courageously lived with Alzheimer's disease for six years, facing each day with quiet strength.
