We bid farewell to Philip K. Whitney (Honolulu, Hawaii), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Philip touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Nelwyn Whitney; and his sisters, Hattie Gaco, Gwendolyn Abellana and Marie Whitney. He is survived by: his children, Peter Whitney, Alexandra Whitney, Chad Whitney (Clydena) and Heather "Kanoi" Whitney; his stepchildren, Joeanna Colin (Kevin) and Georgene Jones (Chris); his siblings, Phoebe Chong (Luckie), Francis Whitney and Alfred Whitney (Leah); and his brother-in-law Randy Abellana. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (85-786 Old Government Rd, Waianae, HI 96792).
