He is survived by: his wife Margaret Nikaido; his daughters, Susan Ota and JoAnne Tom; his sons-in-law, Darrell Ota and Alan Tom; his granddaughter Lauren Tom (Tiger Hoshi-Nagamoto); and his great grandchild Maverick Maruo Hoshi.
