He is survived by : his wife Michelle Kalawaia Kai; his children, Heidi Cravalho (Danny Berrios), Shelby Kalawaia (Aj Trilles), Lani Kalawaia Kai (Sione Niuila) and Kailani Kalawaia Kai; his grandchildren, Kehaulani Ramos, Kahiaulani Ramos, Kanoelani Ramos, Amelia Berrios, Ajynn Trilles, Kaiola Trilles, Kūleʻa Niuila and Keaulani Niuila; his great grandchild Adalyne (Dodd); and his siblings, Al Kai (Luz), Bernie Sylva (Howard), Kimo Kai and U'ilani Danley (Guy).
