He is survived by: his sons, James Legsay Jr. (Dorna), Craig Okita (Joanne) and Lance Okita; his siblings, Joyce Fujimoto, Sally Fujikawa and Paul Okita (Huong "Tam"); and his grandchildren, James K. Legsay III, Javin Legsay, Jaenali Legsay, Reyn Okita, Shay Okita, Skye Okita and Raiden Okita. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
