He is survived by : his wife Carolyn; and his sons, David Struempf of Kailua Kona, Hawai'i, Daniel Struempf (Miriam) of Kailua Kona and Michael Struempf (Renate) of Newport. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
