With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pearl Patricia Pualani Moniz of Kaneohe, Hawaii, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 86. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Pearl had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Pearl may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her sons, William Plazarin Jr. and Mickey Moniz Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Polischeck, Patricia Michelle Moniz, Yvette Lake and Jennifer Pestano (Lee). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 4:30 PM and at 6:30 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Et Valley of the Temples Main Chapel (47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744).
