With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shawn Lehua Rocha of Kapaau, Hawaii, who passed away on July 1, 2025 at the age of 66. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Rocha; his children, Shamar Sarme, Mark Sarme and Sommer Sarme; his nephew Kaipo Rocha; his children-in-law, Dawn Wusstig and Drew Grove; his in-laws, Anna Maddox of Alabama, Chris Shaver (Steve) of Texas, Elizabeth Cabane (Richard) of Honolulu and Jesus Maramba (Nette) of Las Vegas; his sister-in-law Deborah Chartrand of Hilo; and his siblings, Georgette Rocha Nishimura of Hilo, Willy Rocha (Lori) and Stanford Rocha (Sonia). He is also survived by 5 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grand Child; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the Kamehameha Park, Kohala Intergenerational Center (54-364 Kamehameha Park Rd, Kapaau, HI 96755).
