Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lorinda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Leonora LaVoie of Hilo, June Hernkind of Whidbey Island, Washington and Joe Basque of Maui. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel (199 Wainaku St, Hilo, HI 96720). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
