He is survived by: his wife Valentina Agnes Ganir of Kea'au; his children, Aurea Bartolome (Gabriel), Filamer Ganir of Kea'au, Ted Ganir (Raquel), Roberto Ganir (Gina) and Rogelio Ganir (Melanie) of Kea'au; his sister Filomena Ganir Romero; and his siblings-in-law, Andrea Alcon Agnes of Kea'au, Leticia C. Ganir of Michigan, Rosita G. Ganir of Las Vegas, Nevada and Fernando Alcon Agnes of Honolulu, Oahu. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, March 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dodo Mortuary, Inc. (199 Wainaku St, Hilo, HI 96720). A wake will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Alae Cemetery (1033 Hawai?i Belt Rd, Hilo, HI 96720). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 21st 2026 at the same location.
