He is survived by: his daughters, Pua Van Haaften (Marty), Lilia Tollefsen (Kanamu), Kahanu Brubaker (Dave), Kahi Winget (Mike) and Nia Kekauoha; and his siblings, Helen Kahawaii and Randy Kekauoha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
